Explore Fitness Classes at Atrium

Whether you’re a seasoned HIIT enthusiast, a weekend weightlifter, or booking your very first group fitness class, Atrium’s programs are designed to be approachable and challenging for all skill levels. Our approach to fitness coaching is grounded in creating a welcoming environment with thoughtful, scalable movement. While the format may change from class to class, we’re always working towards developing strength, coordination, mobility, and endurance.

Fitness Classes:

Animal Flow

A ground-based movement class that blends yoga, dance, parkour, and acrobatics to create fun and challenging exercise. Develop strength, mobility, and coordination in a playful, inclusive environment. In each class, you will learn several movements and combine them into a flow. As your familiarity with these movements grows, so will your enjoyment of the practice. All levels of fitness and experience are welcome!

Bodyweight Training

Let’s get moving! Increase your strength, endurance, agility, and mobility in this equipment-free class. Learn cues, techniques, and progressions to create a better mind-body connection and build a strong foundation for movement of all types. Sometimes fast-paced intervals. Sometimes slow isometrics and muscle-building work. Always fun… or at least fun-adjacent. ;)

Dynamic Strength & Conditioning

Develop strength, mobility, agility, balance, coordination, speed, power, endurance, body awareness, and overall athleticism through a variety of movements and equipment. It sounds like a lot, but these classes are truly scalable for beginning and returning fitness enthusiasts. This is not your typical group fitness class—expect to receive individual coaching, learn and integrate practical biomechanics for your life, and work hopefully just a little outside your comfort zone. :)

Natural Movement Flow

*Not scheduled during Summer quarter

Your body should feel powerful, purposeful, and playful. This class will guide you through natural human movement patterns: from lying positions to rolling, rocking, sitting, kneeling, crawling, squatting, and finally getting up. Develop core control, movement efficiency, mobility, and total body strength. Over time your joints will move more fluidly, your muscles will feel more supple, and you will become more resilient.

Why Try A Fitness Class?

  • Our bodies are built for movement! By practicing natural human movement patterns—squat, lunge, hinge, push, pull, rotation, and gait—you’re priming your body for a lifetime of better movement.

  • What we do in the fitness studio translates to your real-world activities. This includes daily activities—like picking things up off the floor or sitting down/standing up— as well as your favorite hobbies, like hiking, sports, and more.

  • Our small group fitness classes allow you to learn from experienced fitness coaches in a supportive environment. We provide real-time feedback throughout classes to keep you moving as safely and efficiently as possible.
